Pushpin Opening in Santa Fe

Here we are (I am behind the camera) pinning up the artwork…A few glitches (minor)
and it all came together quite beautifully…

…and this is when the pushing part started…It got very crowded…but it was fun…

Here is the invitation that’s being circulated for the Warm Nest exhibition at the Galerie Gang in IJmuiden, Holland. I am very happy to be part of this show and to be in the company of so many talented artists. I just hope I get to meet them in person someday…Don’t hesitate to visit the Galerie Gang site for more images of this show and some other very interesting information. A great way to expand your horizons and find out what’s happening in the European art world…

…with pretty maids all in a row…of course… and to be fair, a few pretty gentlemen were in attendance too. We are most grateful to all.

Some nice developments (that I will explain in detail later) took place during the opening.
Opportunities arise at the least expected moment…As a preview, I will say that the very talented Mr. Evan Small and myself will collaborate for an upcoming show at the Factory in 5th Street in June 2007. It promises to be an interesting blend of techniques and styles that complement each other quite beautifully. The Factory is a great place to spend a Friday evening looking at some innovative and fresh artwork. Details will come soon…
I truly enjoy partnering with other artists for shows…not just painters….sculptors, poets…I look forward to such meetings of the minds…
If you did not have the chance to attend our opening, please visit the images posted on line at www.arthaus66.com . You are sure to enjoy the work and perhaps you’ll find something that you truly, truly need….Art is good for the soul…

Here are a few views of the Fragile show at N4th Gallery. The show ended a few days ago with and overall grade of B+. We had a good opening reception with fabulous music, great food and a good turnout. By the end of the show, we had managed to sell six pieces in all. I won’t complain since breaking even is quite a feat these days…
Best of all was the feedback from not only friends (supportive as always) but from people I had not met before…They had questions for me, insightful comments, some funny remarks and what I perceived to be genuine interest. Good stuff.

I would like to thank everyone once again for coming… and special thanks go to those who reached into their pockets and backed up their nice words with a purchase. It is very much appreciated.
